Crawling in the Grass

My little munchkin can finally crawl!  So, we took her to the park on a beautiful Sunday in March to experience grass for the first time!  She had so much fun. She was very unsure of how it felt and wether or not she could crawl on it, but she eventually got it!

First time snow....

Well, this was the first winter that Sophia got to experience snow!  By the time she was born last year, the weather had begun to get warmer and no snow fell.  We took her out in the snow for the first time and she had a blast.

How do you choose a name for a child?

I never realized what an amazingly difficult decision choosing your child's name would be!  I never wanted Sophia to be embarrassed of her name or wonder why we named her what we did.  Plus, I wanted a name that was beautiful and that had a meaning that would be applicable to Sophia's life.  This page is a story to Sophia for her to know how she got her name.  It is from the "Sugar Baby" kit by Valerie Brown Designs.

My Pretty Girl

For each of Sophia's "month milestones" until she turned 1 year old, I made a scrapbooking page. This is when my pretty girl turned 11 months old.  I called her name as I was taking the picture and just the way she turned to look at me made my heart melt!  This page was made using  "Sweet Purple Breeze" by Sweet Tranquility.

Sleeping Beauty

One of the best things as a mom is to sit and watch your baby sleep.  They are so peaceful and sweet.  All the frustrations of the day can be washed away by just watching your little one sleep and dream.  This page was made using "Counting Sheep" by Simply Sweet Designs.
