Well, Kathy Winter's accepted me to her CT! I can't believe I am adding another CT to my plate, but I absolutely LOVE being on these CTs! I am keeping myself busy, giving myself something to do at night, and making awesome memories for myself, Peter, and Sophia! I love it! Anyway, Kathy is GREAT and if you want to check her out, she is exclusively at Scrapable. Here is a preview of her kit, Girly Birthday Party.
And here are two layouts that I made using the Girly Birthday Party kit. They are a double layout and I love the way it came out.

Scrapable Blog Challenge
Here is the challenge for this half of the month: "Today. I would like to get to your history of how you became a digital scrapper. Did you paper scrap? Who inspired you? Where did you first call "home" in the digi-land? Anything you'd like to say about your venture into digital scrapbooking."
So, I started digital scrapping in January of 2009. I had always paper scrapped and loved doing it as I love to look back at memories and actually be able to remember everything! I have 4 or 5 FULL 12x12 paper scrapbooks for my college days and of my wedding and honeymoon. When Sophia was born, I was SO excited to start her scrapbook. I worked on it like a mad woman for the first 6 months of her life. It was so easy to do as I would put her in her swing and she would watch me and loved seeing me do stuff! Well, around 6 months of age she started getting in to things. Then eventually came the full out crawl around Christmas time and my scrapping days ended. She was grabbing the paper and the pens and getting in to everything. By the time she fell asleep at night, there was no time to take everything out before it was time to clean it up so I could go to bed.
In January, I saw a friend create a layout digi-scrap style and I could not believe it! It was beautiful. So, I started researching. I heard about "Scrappity-Doo-Dah" a digi scrap site and started hanging out there a bit. I did not post, but just lurked. Around this same time, I found scrapable.net. I loved their style and I loved how friendly everyone seemed. I immediately started posting there and I loved every minute of it. I am now on a bunch of CTs and scrap every single day!!! I love digi-scrapping and I love the fact that I will be able to leave Sophia all kinds of memories of her childhood.

Scrapable Blog Challenge - Winter
Well, if you live in New England, you either totally hate winter or you absolutely love it! I LOVE IT!!! I love the way everything looks right after the snow has fallen - when it is stuck to the trees and covering the leaves. I love the bustle of the holidays and the good smells coming from home. I love snuggling on the couch with DH during football season and taking a nap while Sophia naps. I love the excitement of getting our Christmas tree and decorating it! I absolutely LOVE Christmas. Our church has a beautiful Christmas Eve service that ends with a candle-lighting and I love the way the church looks all lit with candles and everyone singing "Silent Night." Just thinking about it makes me smile!
