I just used another of Wimpychompers kits! It is called Little Pumpkin Cutie. It is GREAT! I used a template by Nikki Epperson (also at Polka Dot Plum) and this is what I came up with....It is from pumpkin picking with Sophia last October.

New favorite
I recently decided that I am going to go back and redo Sophia's 1st year baby album. I started digital scrapping when she was 9 months old, so everything before last Christmas is in paper format. I want all of her books to be the same, so I am going back. For each new page I do, I am going to redo an old one. With that said, I have been watching a specific designer for awhile now. Pretty much stalking her blog, lol....that sounds creepy!!! Her stuff is great! So, I found a new favorite designer!!! LOL. I love Wimpychompers! She has GREAT stuff for anyone with kids!!! I want her entire store! Here is a page I made with her kit, Messy Little Chica (available at Polka Dot Plum for anyone interested).
This is what the kit looks like:
Here's my layout of Sophia when she first started eating baby food!!! I can't believe how long ago that was!!!

The Richness of Autumn
Christa (LawTeeDa Designs) has another beautiful kit out that I had the pleasure of working with this weekend!!! It is called "The Richness of Autumn" and it is beautiful! I have decided that I am going to go back to when Sophia was born and redo her baby scrapbook digitally (I had originally done it with paper scrapping). So, I went back to last fall and made this page about her first apple and pumpkin picking. Here is the preview of Christa's kit (linked to her store) and my layout:
This layout is from our time at the park tonight! My little cupcake was loving playing with the leaves. Daddy kept throwing the leaves at her and she thought it was GREAT!

Well, I was asked to be on another new CT and I just couldn't say no! LOL. When will I learn? I am really excited about this CT though. I didn't even apply!!! Everything else with scrapping has been a disappointment lately, so I am really excited. Here is my first layout for Christa of LawTeeDa Designs! You can find her at Divine Digital. Here is a preview of her "My Little Cupcake" kit and two layouts I did from Sophia's First Birthday almost 7 months ago!!! I can't believe my little cupcake is growing so fast!!!

Blah
So, this morning is definitely a blah kind of day. Sophia has been sick for almost a week now with a bad cold. Thankfully she is pleasant, but she can't breathe, so she is not eating or sleeping well at all. It has left me tired and with a migraine for the past week.....I also found out about a few different things today that have left me just feeling kind of hurt, and disappointed and discouraged and I hate feeling that way. It is something I expect all the time, but yet it still bothers me. I hate that I let it have that effect on me.
On top of all that yuckiness, our schedule at school is still in flux, with kids coming and going all the time, class lists constantly changing and a million kids (well, really only about 35) in some classes. It is crazy. This is week 4 of the school year....why can't they get it right by now???? So, I have not done much in the way of teaching, more just crowd control right now.
I have also started planning the kids musical for church which starts this Saturday. I have a new helper this year, which hopefully will end up being a good thing! I have about 30 kids signed up and more tend to show as the weeks go on, so we will see what happens. I still need 2 young adults for the two adult parts, so we will see if I can find people for those spots. It seems to be a really cute musical and I am excited about it.
Well, I think that is about it for right now, so I am going to go get a scrap page or two done!

New CT
Well, I am now on the CT for Pretty Scrappy.....
This was my first assignment - Farmer's Helpers by Country Hollow Creations. I loved the elements in the kits, but the papers were kind of lacking.....Plus, it could have used more embellishment type elements, but now I am just being picky. Here is the preview and my layout:

Life
Well, I decided to start blogging on here regularly besides just posting my scrapbook stuff... So much is going on and I can't wrap my head around everything, which is making sleep next to impossible each night.
School started almost 3 weeks ago now. It is CRAZY!!! Our new schedule leaves me exhausted every afternoon and I am spending tons of time at home doing work once Sophia goes to bed. I feel like I am a hamster on a wheel just running, but going nowhere fast....With how crazy everything has been, Peter and I resigned from our responsibilities with the youth group at church. We just couldn't commit to two days during the week and activities on the weekend. I was sad to give it up, but I don't know how we could have handled anything more, especially once Peter starts coaching basketball again in November.
The kids musical starts again next Saturday at church. Though I can't wait to see the finished result, I am a little nervous as I have new people helping me this year. It will be weird doing the musical without Eli, but I am hoping it will run just as smoothly.
I also realized this week that I have no one to really talk and confide in besides Peter and my mom. That is so frustrating to me! Friends seem to come and go and I don't feel like there is anyone who I can truly trust right now. I feel like I am at such a crossroad in life and really want another couple we can get together with and talk to. We have no small group at church, no close couple friends, and no little kids for Sophia to hang out with.....I really wish some of my JM friends lived closer....
Well, I am at work, so I had better get to work! Hopefully I will have a few more scrap pages this afternoon....
